The Nordic Robotics Association is a not-for-profit organisation, started in 2026 by people passionate about supporting the Nordic robotics ecosystem to become world leading.

We believe the technology is at an inflection point. The fundamentals built now — the standards, the supply chains, the talent pipelines, the trust between operators and the public — will shape robotics for the rest of the century. Decisions made in this decade will compound for the next seventy years.

The Nordics have a rare combination of ingredients: world-class digitalisation, deep precision-engineering heritage, pragmatic regulators, demanding industrial customers, and a culture that has historically translated research into deployed systems. We believe this part of the world has everything it needs to play a crucial role in the journey from lab prototypes to robots that quietly do useful work in the real world.

Our role is to make that easier. We map who is building what, connect the people who should be talking, surface the lessons that usually stay locked inside individual companies, and give the ecosystem a shared voice.
